Walk 4 Literacy Family Festival

After walking 4 miles through several Sacramento neighborhoods enjoy the Walk 4 Literacy Family Festival at the James McClatchy Park.

The Walk 4 Literacy Family Festival features live music, free books, fun activities for kids, and literacy information for parents.  More than 25 community organizations will be in attendance.

Free Bus Transportation

A bus will continuously drive the Walk 4 Literacy route between 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, and make stops at Oakridge Elementary, Ethel Phillips Elementary, Bret Harte Elementary and James McClatchy Park.
